Overview
Loof was actually the first standalone rooftop bar in Singapore. And continuing to go strong, despite all the competition that has popped up throughout the years, is really a sign of doing a lot of things right.
Loof is not the rooftop for the most grand views, even though it is probably the place for the best vistas over the famous Raffles Hotel right across the street. This 3rd floor terrace is instead the place for fun times and good vibes.
This large, garden-like rooftop offers plenty of seating in form of mainly bar stools and tables but also a couple of comfy lounge chairs and leather sofas. If you want the sofas you should arrive in very good time, as Loof is a highly popular place.
The rooftop bar offers fun and creative cocktails, well crafted and with inspiration from Southeast Asia, along with very tasty bar bites filled with local flavours.
There is also a generous happy hour every day between 5-8pm, with beers & bubbly for $10 and housepours of spirits and wines starting at $6 and rising 1 dollar every hour.
Food, drinks and decor aside, Loof is alot about the friendly service and the playful and fun atmosphere. Not the more classic upscale rooftop bar, but instead a place for beer pong, live DJs playing old-school music, occasional themed parties and a packed dancefloor. Perfect for a relaxing and fun night out.
