Up on the roof of the excellent Hotel Minerva in Sorrento, you’ll find the Pool Bar along with the big and luxurious rooftop swimming pool. The roof terrace comes with a majestic view, overlooking the Gulf of Sorrento and the island of Capri, almost seeming so close you could touch it.

The Minerva pool with solarium and rooftop pool bar is a place made for peace and harmony, equipped with comfy sun beds, umbrellas and many comfortable seats to rest between swims. A plunge into the pool, surrounded by the Mediterranean nature, will make you feel like you’re on top of the world.

The pool bar looks like a lovely marine style kiosk and offers hotel guests the opportunity to enjoy a good coffee, indulge in a snack or sip a drink or other refreshments.

While the Pool Bar up on the roof is only available to guests staying at the Minerva, the hotel also offers a restaurant and bar a couple of floors below that is open to all. And the Minerva Restaurant has an outdoor terrace where you get almost as good sea views as up on the rooftop.

Stretching around the beautiful 1875 building, the terrace is classy in design, with the red cushion chairs and umbrellas matching the window frames. Open from breakfast through dinner, the restaurant serves classic Italian dishes along with a wide selection of cocktails from the bar, and the terrace is extra cosy at night with beautiful lighting and quite often the sound of live piano or mandolin.
