Set on top of the fabulous NEW Hotel in Athens, about 200 meters from Syntagma Square, you find a very stylish rooftop bar and restaurant called Art Lounge. Just as the design hotel as a whole, the rooftop bar comes with a very trendy and beautiful setting.

And it is not only the architecture that is impressive, the 360° views from the 7th floor terrace deserves just as much attention. Lovely panoramics that include Athens historical landmarks, such as the Acropolis, Lycabettus Hill, Syntagma Square and the Parliament.

Seating at Art Lounge comes both on the al-fresco terrace, as well as inside the comfy lounge with panoramic windows. Playing on the hotel’s cultural and art passions, you are also surrounded by a library with over 2000 art books (which you can borrow if you wish).

Between the art books, you should not forget to also have a read on the menu. This rooftop bar and restaurant offers both fantastic Greek / Mediterranean inspired food and a large selection of drinks.

Signature dishes include 'Kritharoto' (slow cooked pork) and the 'NEW Taste Hamburger', made with American Angus beef. Cocktails are served as signatures and classics, and there is a nice selection of both Greek and international wines.

Open daily for dinner, Art Lounge is a great spot for romatic dinner or some stylish drinks. You can also visit for the weekend rooftop brunch, usually available from mid-October to late April.
