Just south of the river and Butler Metro Park you find El Alma, a vibrant and local-feel restaurant, offering flavors of Mexico and a lovely rooftop terrace.

While only on a second floor location, the Alma rooftop still offers fantastic views over the Austin skyline. Great for both sunny hours, when fans and mist keeps you cool, as well as nighttime visits when cosy lighting glitters along with the skyline.

El Almo offers fun, casual and authentic Mexican food, created by Chef Alma Alcocer-Thomas. Choose between tacos, enchiladas, ceviche, gringas, or something else from the large all-day menu.

The drinks are just as fun and creative, with an impressive selection of different Margaritas, as well as other latin-isnpired cocktails.

Vibrant and friendly in atmosphere, El Alma rooftop bar is a popular spot among the local crowd, especially during the daily 3-6pm happy hour. But it is well worth a visit any time of the day: a sunny lunch, a weekend rooftop brunch or for a casual night out with vibes, food, drinks and views.
