Namned after its altitude above sea level, the 173 Rooftop Terrace is perched on top of the excellent hotel InterContinental Barcelona in Montjuïc.

Seven floors up, the rooftop terrace offers an amazing 360-degree view over Barcelona. It is actually one of the best in the city, and here you can see everything from the Torre de Collserola and the Tibidabo to the Montjuïc cable car, the Sagrada Familia, Plaza España and the Palacio Nacional.

Opened in 2017, the charming and spacious terrace is stylish in setting, and comes with both restaurant area, lounge area and a fantastic rooftop pool. The pool is exclusive to guests at the hotel, but the rooftop bar and restaurant is free and open to all.

Here you can enjoy authentic Mediterranean flavours as lunch, tapas dinner or nightly snack, as well as a carefully selected drink menu, including classic and signature cocktail creations and a wide array of Gin.

Terraza 173 usually comes with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, perfect to just sit back and enjoy the views. During weekend summer evenings, the ambience turns a bit more vibrant, with live music sessions and DJs.

The terrace is often also open for sunny visits during winter.
