Set in an a historical building in the heart of Budapest, the boutique Hotel Rum Budapest comes with a fantastic rooftop bar, much more modern than the building its perched on top of.

The rooftop space is available all year-round, with a retractable roof and panoramic glass wall keeping everyone warm and cosy during winter, and opening for alfresco fun under the open sky during summer.

Set seven floors above Old Town Budpaest, the sleek yet lush rooftop offers some great views over the most historical parts of the city, including Gellért Hill and the University Square church.

SOLID used to be a rooftop wine bar, but has now turned into a designated rooftop brunch restaurant, offering a wide selection of special brunch dishes and the perfect start to any day in Budapest.

The rooftop is also closely linked with the Michelin starred fine dining restaurant SALT, found on the ground floor of the hotel.
