While Rick's Cafe Americain has been around for a while, the 2020 move to a charming 135 year old Victorian building on Kloof Street means an even more impressive setting than before, and an even more elevated rooftop terrace.

Decorated in a style reminiscent of the 1942 movie classic 'Casablanca', Rick's is set over three floors. The Aviation cocktail bar is on the ground floor, followed by the second floor restaurant that comes with both interior seating and a wraparound balcony. The prime spot is however the colorful and lush rooftop terrace, with great views over the Table Mountain.

Mixing comfy sofas with dining tables, the vibrant rooftop is a great spot for sunny lunches, sun downers or a fun night out. And you will not be short of options when it comes to food and drinks.

Rick's Cafe Americain has one of Cape Towns biggest beverage selections, including an award winning array of wines, over 80 tequila brands and more than 200 Gin, Rum and Vodka options. There is also lunch and dinner menus featuring a seasonal selection of global tapas and a wide variety of gourmet burgers, fresh seafood, mature prime steaks and Moroccan and Mediterranean specialties.
