Overview
Elevated venue serving light bites and signature cocktails with a gorgeous city view.
After a re-barnding to Cloud Bar by David Burke, City Lights Rooftop is back to its original name, and this is still one of few rooftop bars in Charlotte with a complete 360-degree view over the Queen City skyline.
The terrace is perched on the 18th floor of the five star Le Méridien Charlotte, and it is not only elevated, it is also one of the most spacious, and a perfect spot to get a new perspective on the city.
The rooftop bar serves crafted and refreshing signature cocktails, like the 'Head In The Clouds' (vodka, citrus, fresh strawberries), along with a good selection of beers, both classic Americans and local ones from North Carolina.
To go with the drinks there is a also a must-try menu of light bites, with plenty of Spanish-style tapas.
The large and open-air terrace is modern in decoration with a mix of lounge chairs, bar stools by the edge and some lush greenery. Perfect for breezy sunset drinks, but also available during the colder months, when the rooftop turns into a Winter Wonderland.
Enjoy a fun and vibrant atmosphere with a trendy crowd and weekly live music and nightly live DJs. Just remember that the terrace has a first come, first served basis (if not a party of 10 or more).
