Overview
Old pump house turned into beautiful restaurant and rooftop bar.
The Pump House is an affordable upscale restaurant and rooftop bar located a little bit outside of Charlotte. Between Rock Hill and Fort Mill, it is only about a 30 minute car ride away from the city center, but during the drive you do actually swap state from North to South Carolina. But such a unique place, it is well worth a bit of traveling.
Beautiful setting in a authentic old pump house, right by the Catawba River, The Pump House comes with a stylish multi-level indoor restaurant with patio, and a 5th floor rooftop bar with its very own menu.
The restaurant serves Southern-inspired American cuisine prepared by local chefs for both lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, while the rooftop bar has a menu of bar bites, desserts in a glass, well-crafted signature cocktails and crafted beers. There is also a happy hour at the rooftop every Mon-Fri between 4-7pm.
Very stylish in setting, but still relaxed and casual in atmosphere, The Pump House is definitely the most unique rooftop bar Charlotte has to offer. Make reservations, and for the best experience, do a combo of lunch or dinner in the restaurant, combined with drinks at the rooftop bar.
