The fantastic Sofitel Dubai Downtown offers a range of great restaurants and bar, where one of the latest additions is the Tipsy Lion. This open-air eatery and beer garden bring plenty of British vibes and good 'old fashioned fun to the heart of Dubai.

Part indoor lounge which looks like a modern version of a classic British pub, and part lush and airy rooftop garden, where the 8th floor location bring along great views over the Dubai skyline.

From the rooftop bar you can order a wide range of British food and international favourites, served as both bar bites and larger plates. The drink menu includes signature cocktails (and signature sharing cocktails), a sepcial Jack Daniel's cocktail menu and plenty of draft beers and wine.

Packed with a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere, here you can challenge your friends in a game of pool or fussball, listen to rocking live music or just enjoy the weekly events, from daily Happy Hour (5-8pm) to Ladies Night and Friday Brunch.

Sofitel Dubai Downtown is a bit of a rooftop heaven, and close to Tipsy Lion you also find a spacious rooftop pool terrace, called Mosaic Pool Lounge. It is hard to say if the best feature is the incredibly luxurious decor or the amazing rooftop infinity pool. It might just be the last on, as it is by many considered as one of the very best rooftop pools Dubai has to offer.
