After a major 2022 makeover, what used to be Tamanya Terrace has turned into SomePlace Else. Gone are the palm trees and the tropical decorations, and instead you find neon light signs, foliage hanging from the ceiling and an overall more sleek setting.

Still very much located on the 8th floor at Radisson Blu Hotel, right in the heart of Dubai Media City, the rooftop terrace offers great views over the Dubai Marina, the Palm Jumeirah, and the Arabian Gulf. Open and airy most of the time, but during the hot summer, a rooftop tent and plenty of A/C towers keep the venue nice and chilled.

The SomePlace Else rooftop bar offers a wide range of really creative and tasty signature cocktails, as well as a plenty of bites and sharing plates, like Beef Sliders and Pulled Tacos.

Surrounded with a festive yet chill vibe, the rooftop is a very popular after work spot, and the party usually continues well into the night, with live music or DJs raising the temperature from Wednesday to Sunday.
