Plaza Hotel Lucchesi Florence has a very luxurious rooftop terrace, showing off with a lovely rooftop pool and an American rooftop bar called Empireo. This is also complemented with an absolutely stunning view of Florence skyline and the surrounding enviroment.

From here you can catch the Doumo, Fiorentina's home stadium Artemio Franchi, the Arno River and all the way to the Tuscany Hills.

During daytime the terrace is a primarily a resfreshing oasis for guests at the hotel, soaking the sun in comfy sunbeds and sipping cocktails in the cooling rooftop pool.

But during lunch and after 6pm all summer nights, the terrace opens up for everyone to visit. Equipped with both bar stools and comfy lounge chairs, this terrace is the perfect place to enjoy magical sunsets over Florence.

Between 8pm-10pm the rooftop bar offers a set price aperitif (€27) which includes a drink and a buffet of Italian delicacies. Apart from that, the menu also includes well made classic cocktails as well as more creative and exciting options.

With live music almost every night, both DJs and artists, the atmosphere at Empireo is usually vibrant, but with a very sophisticated touch.
