Found right in the center of Cognac, the amazing Hôtel Chais Monnet & Spa is an historic cognac distillery turned into contemporary hotel. Sprawling over five acres, the highly impressive hotel features 104 rooms, suites and apartments, a spa, a Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant, a contemporary brasserie, and best of all, a jazz bar with a rooftop lounge.

Named Bar & Rooftop 1838, and located in the former Monnet cooperage, the refined and plush interior bar is open for sips and festive evenings all year round. During the warmer months, the vibes expand up to the lush and open-air rooftop, surrounded with panoramic views over Cognac.

In a chic and social atmosphere, here you can indulge in a fantastic array of mixology cocktail creations, as well as some 300 cognac references, and a wide range of fine spirits and champagne.
