Overview
Stylish rooftop bar, filled with history and live entertainment.
Saigon Saigon Rooftop Bar is a Ho Chi Minh rooftop bar situated on the 10th floor of the classic and fabolous Hotel Caravelle, right opposite the Opera House. Loads of history surrounds both the hotel and the rooftop.
This is where many American reporters lived during the Vietnam War and spent time on the rooftop overlooking the city. So needless to say, it has been around for a while.
Pretty simple but old-style rustic in décor, with large wooden chairs and tables on the main terrace and on the 'balconies' surrounding the inside bar. Really spectacular views of the skyline, including the close by Opera House and the Notre Dame. And a quite magical sunset on top of that.
The Saigon Saigon Bar offers a large drinking menu, including their own brewed beer (called Caravelle Terrace Draft) and very well crafted signature cocktails with references to the history of the hotel and to Saigon.
There is also a great food menu with sliders, platters and snacks, mixing classic bar bites with a gentle gateway into Vietnamese cuisine. From Wagyu Beef Burger to Vietnamese Spring Rolls.
Add a fast and very friendly service, sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere, live Cuba Band or DJ nightly, and you understand why this is a classic spot among the best Ho Chi Minh rooftop bars, and well worth a visit.
Tip: Planing an event in Saigon? Hotel Caravelle also holds a space up on the roof called 'Event on 26th'. Perfect for a larger event with fantastic views.
