Wooloomooloo Steakhouse (Wan Chai) have perhaps the top location of all the best rooftop restaurants and bars in Hong Kong, located right in the heart of Wan Chai.

There are actually two Wooloomooloos in HK, but it is the one at the 31st floor of the Hennessy Building that offers an absolutely magical view of Wan Chai, Happy Valley and Victoria Harbour.

The Wooloomooloo restaurant is a steakhouse with lots of fantastic meat dishes. Cocktail- and wine list holds high class here too. If you are looking for a good steak and great views, this is the rooftop in Hong Kong for you.

The steakhouse restaurant is one floor down from the amazing and open-air rooftop terrace, which serve more of a bar snack menu. So make a combo of rooftop dinner and drinks at both restaurant and terrace, or just enjoy a cocktail, the great atmosphere and the "all-of-HK"-views at the rooftop bar.

While you can (and really should) make reservations for dinner in the restaurant, the rooftop bar works on a walk-in basis. So be in good time for the best front-row spots to the views.

Wooloomooloo rooftop has an easy-going and vibrant atmosphere, with a resident DJ turning the soft afternoon vibe up a bit every evening from 7pm. Given that everything up here is quite fantastic, and the view unbelievable, Wooloo Mooloo Hong Kong often ranks as one of the worlds best rooftop bars.

Many locals refers to the rooftop bar as Wooloomooloo Wanchai, because of the name of the area that it's located in.
