Overview
The place to go if you really want to experience Innsbruck from above.
While not a rooftop bar, a position of 1 905 meters above sea level means that Cloud 9 and Restaurant Seegrube offers some of the most amazing and unique views over Innsbruck and the surrounding mountains.
Found next to the stop of the Nordkette Seegrubenbahn, just a few minutes ride from the city center, Cloud 9 is a natural and charming sun terrace, open during the winter months.
Settle down in the comfoy sun loungers on the snow, enjoy cool drinks from the bar, and take in the breathtaking scenery. You should also visit the 8-meter-high igloo, entirely constructed from natural snow by snow artist Kostadin Stoilov.
Adjacent to Cloud 9 is Restaurant Seegrube, open all year round, offering traditional Tyrolean cuisine in a cozy ambience, with the same fantastic views over Innsbruck.
Featuring both inside and terrace seating, the restaurant is open from breakfast to early dinner.
