Newly refurbished Golden Bee is a stylish cocktail lounge and rooftop bar, located in Shoredtich, just off the Old Street tube station. Perfect for after work and more relaxed lounge vibes during weekdays, and during weekends the rooftop party is full on with live DJs and lots of people on the dancefloor.

Set over three levels, the real gem is (of course) the swanky rooftop terrace. Equipped with a retractable canopy it is weatherproof in the summer and warm and cosy in the winter.

The bar offers a wide range of delicious cocktails and drinks. Try to time your visit to Thursday & Friday 5-7pm when it is happy hour (2 for 1). Then you will have one of the most price-worthy and qualitative rooftop experiences available in London.

As for food, Golden Bee is not a restaurant, but they have teamed up with Yard Sale Pizza, so can order hot and fresh slices right at your table. There is also a Sushi-option, this however needs to be pre-ordered.

Golden Bee is free for all on Thursday's and Sunday's, while during Friday & Saturday there is a £10 cover charge. And remember to dress up a bit, since the dress code is smart casual.

The terrace at Golden Bee is also a popular spot for private events. So to avoid disappointment and turning at the door, the best thing is to check availability in advance.
