Alto at Selfridge Roof Terrace

An elevated escape to Italy, high above Oxford Street.

Up on of the famous shopping center Selfridge's, right on Oxford Street, you find a beautiful roof terrace. A perfect spot to take a brake in the shopping and enjoy a meal, and maybe a glass or two.

Changing concept from time to time, it has been a chic Italian rooftop restaurant the last couple of years, called Alto by San Carlo.

Set up as a lovely Italian garden, the rooftop restaurant offers a day-to-night menu of seasonal Italian dishes, from the finest seafood and pasta to grilled specialties. Or you can just have some drinks from the bar on the al fresco sun terrace

While the setting and offers on the terrace might change from time to time, the lovely views are however always the same. The vistas from the rooftop terrace extends over the London rooftops, and on a clear day one can see very far. If the weather should disappoint there is a retractable roof aswell.

Sophisticated yet vibrant, the atmosphere up here is usually on top. And it's quite popular place for a break in the shopping, so if possible, reservations are recommended.
