Overview
Sun-drenched rooftop terrace and Michelin-starred rooftop restaurant.
Located in the City of London, the luxurious and lively South Palace Hotel offers a rooftop setting out of the ordinary.
Perched on top of the hotel you find the all season South Place Hotel Rooftop, situated next to London’s only Michelin starred seafood restaurant, Angler. The west-facing and sun-drenched rooftop terrace & bar comes surrounded with amazing views of the city skyline.
Bright, lush and beautiful, the terrace brings a little piece of Provence to the heart of London. Perfect to sip expertly crafted signature cocktails in the afternoon sun, but also to cozy up in the winter months with twinkling lights and cozy furs.
Quite often, the rooftop offers exciting take-overs, transforming into 'Campari Terrace', a chic homage to 1900s Florence, or a crisp and champagne-inspired 'Charles Heidsieck Terrace'.
All guests and non-guests of the hotel are welcome on the roof for pre-dinner, show or nightcap cocktails, and diners from Angler Restaurant to can visit for pre and post lunch or dinner drinks.
At the adjacent Michelin-starred Angler, the best sustainable seafood from British waters is served as lunch (Tue-Fri) and dinner (Tue-Sat). Led by Executive Chef, Gary Foulkes, the ever-changing menu features only seasonal and carefully sourced produce, complemented with an extensive and sommelier selected bottled wine list.
For some stylish drinks with a view, maybe combined with a very special meal, the South Place Hotel Rooftop is an elevated sanctuary not to be missed.
This winter, the South Place Hotel Rooftop is tranformed into Monkey 47 Black Forest, an enchanting Alpine wonderland adorned with twinkling fairy lights, cosy sheepskin blankets and toasty heaters. Enjoy exclusive signature cocktails, infused gin bar bites, and a private Monkey bar.
