Overview
Rooftop cocktail bar at Citizen Public Market in Culver City.
Housed in a building that has been around since the 1920s, Citizen Public Market in Culver City mixes the modern with the history. Opened late 2020, the 7,500 square-foot market-hall holds plenty of restaurants and bars, including the rooftop Bar Bohémien.
Inspired by the building's history and the greatest cities around the world, Bar Bohémien aims to create the feeling of a classic coktail lounge. The interior, with brick walls and large, arched windows, leads out to a lush and wooden floored rooftop terrace overlooking Culver City.
The rooftop menu includes craft beers and wines from local California producers, but what you really should try is one of the crafted cocktails. Perfect to pair with tapas plates inspired by Spain, or charcuterie boards inspired by Paris.
Open daily, Bar Bohémien is a social spot that works great for both a lively happy hours or a romantic date. Just note that the bar works on a first-come, first-serve basis.
