Perched on top of the lovely hotel Freehand Los Angeles in Downtown LA, Broken Shaker is a colorful and vibrant rooftop oasis and cocktail bar.

Set 14 stories above the bustling streets below, the rooftop terrace is not only bright and beautiful in decoration, but also offers some amazing and panoramic views over the Los Angeles skyline and the DT area.

From sunrise to sunset, anyone staying at Freehand can enjoy the refreshing rooftop pool and loungers, for relaxing sips and dips under the LA sun. But while the pool is exclusive, the poolside rooftop bar is open to all, from noon to late at night.

A winner of Tales of the Cocktail’s Best American Hotel Bar award, the Broken Shaker serves some delicious and handcrafted creations, from signature and seasonal cocktails to punch bowl's made to share. There is also a nice selection of brews and wine, along with some casual and tasty bites.

Bringing a slice of the beach to DTLA, both in taste and in vibe, Broken Shaker rooftop comes with a relaxing and casual-chic atmosphere. Daytime visits are recommended for sunny and comfortable drinks, while nights and weekends include live DJs, events and a larger crowd.
