Overview
Historic recording studio turned into restaurant, bar and rooftop.
Found in the heart of Hollywood, Grandmaster Recorders is an historic recording studio, that in 2021 turned into a modern and multi-level restaurant and bar.
Covering 15 000 sq ft, the venue includes an impressive and industrial-chic interior restaurant, serving elevated coastal Italian and Australian-inspired dishes, as well as the 71 Studio Bar, a sexy lounge offering crafted cocktails and live music. The jewel in Grandmaster Recorders crown is however the Grandmaster Rooftop, residing on top of the building.
With a large and stylish bar, and a mix of dining tables and comfy lounge spots, the beautiful rooftop comes surrounded with equally beautiful views, over the Hollywood skyline and the Hollywood Hills.
Offering its own menu, the Grandmaster Rooftop serves specialty cocktails named after songs and albums recorded by artist in the old studio, along with spritzes, craft beers and wine. There is also plenty of options to keep the hunger at bay, from antipasti to wood-fired pizza.
While reservations are recommended for the Grandmaster Recorders restaurant, the Grandmaster Rooftop works on a first come, first served basis. So just show up, grab a spot and enjoy great views, food and drinks (during the Wednesday to Friday 4-6pm Aperitivo Happy Hour served at extra good deals).
