Upstairs at the Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles is a trendy and vibrant rooftop bar with a magnificent view of downtown Los Angeles and the surroundings. Really an urban oasis right in the city center.

The rooftop has two terraces, one 'bar-part' with seating areas and tables with a robust and natural feel, and tent-like covers for the strong LA sun. The 'pool-part' is much more open, bathing in sun on most days and has a lovely rooftop pool and some comfy sun loungers.

The rooftop bar offers fresh cocktails, a good set of canned beers, some nice bar bites (amazing avocado toast!) and a weekend brunch menu.

Daytime, the atmosphere at Upstirs LA is relaxed poolside lounge, but come night (especially weekends), it is an eventfilled rooftop bar with the hip crowd of LA mingling into the late hours. DJs, live bands, pop up shops, there is something happening here almost every night, so the perfect place for a LA rooftop party.
