The five star and absolutely fantastic Savoy Palace in Funchal is not only a great place to stay, it's also home to a slice of rooftop-heaven.

Floating close to the Madeira sky, here you find a rooftop bar, a rooftop restaurant and rooftop infinity pools, as well as stunning 360° view over the ocean and the island.

The rooftop bar, called Galáxia Skybar, offers both a spacious and comfy outdoor terrace, as well as a cool and futuristic indoor lounge. Here you can enjoy a menu filled with 'Out Of This World Cocktails', which are crafted signature creations with galactic references, like the 'Rocket Man' and the 'Space Oddity'.

Complementing the signatures are classic and sharing cocktails, as well as Zero Gravity mocktails, premium spirits and both Madeira and Portugal wines.

Open to all from noon to late night (with a 10€ minimum consumption for non-hotel guests), Galáxia Skybar is a fantastic spot for elevated and elegant drinks with a view. Visit between 18.30 to 19.30 for daily happy hour, or Friday and Saturday nights for live DJs and vibes.

Adjacent to the rooftop bar is also Galáxia Skyfood, a premium rooftop restaurant serving a dinner experiences (19-23) with flavours from all around the globe, available as both tasting menu's and á la carte.
