Overview
Iconic location, with five levels of sophisticated fun and Italian influences.
Found in the heart of Melbourne, the Campari House has been around since 1967 and is one of the original venues of the city's iconic laneways.
Offering five levels of sophisticated fun, the house holds a restaurant, cocktail lounge, rooftop bar and a top floor Soda Bar. It is up to you to choose level based on mood and occasion.
Seekers of views and alfresco vibes will of course head upwards, to the Campari House rooftop bar. Nestled amongst the CBD skyscrapers, the charming and astroturfed terrace is a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Given the name, a glass of Campari should obviously be your first order, but the rooftop menu includes a whole lot more. Italian-inspired, there are both fresh pizza's and more filling pasta and main dishes, along with a nice selection of sparkling, wines, local brews and crafted cocktails.
With a warm and buzzing atmosphere, the Campari rooftop is a popular spot among the local crowd. And as mentioned, the top destination is actually the Soda Bar, which is usually a space for private functions. But if you are lucky you hit a night when it is open to the public, cause this is where you get the very best views over the Melbourne skyline.
