Overview
Not your regular roftop bar, Madame Brussels is a quirky, kitschy, cute, fun and ‘rather fancy' cocktail bar, located above the Spaghetti Tree Restaurant in central Melbourne. Or in many ways, a country club right in the heart of the city.
This 3rd floor establishment has a setting somwhere in between Alice in Wonderland meets an old style tennis club. With pink walls, white picket fences, green astroturf, garden chaises and wicker sun lounges, Madame Brussels really invintes to a garden party.
Both indoor seating and a lovely rooftop terrace, where you get great views of the Melbourne skyline.
The rooftop bar offers a wide mix of well made cocktails, punches, wine and champagne along with a food menu ranging from Madame Brussels famous and creamy cupcakes to more filling options like Sausage Rolls and Cheese Plates.
Clearly different from most other rooftop bars Melbourne has to offer, and highly popular, so try to be in good time as the rooftop does not take any bookings.
Madame Brussels is well worth a visit when in Melbourne, partly for the very different setting, but mostly for the fun and nice atmosphere.
