On the 40-41st floor of the Latin American Tower, right in the heart of Mexico City’s Historic Center, you find a modern restaurant and rooftop bar called Miralto. Or rather, the 41st floor restaurant is called Miralto, and the bar on the 40th floor is called Nivel 40 SkyBar.
While not completely open-air, large windows and a glass roof really creates an outside-feel. From a window table you get unobstructed 360º views over the four cardinal points of the city, including the Zócalo, Reforma, La Basilica de Guadalupe and even Santa Fe.
From time to time, Miralto also offers service at the very top floor and open-air observation deck at the Latin American Tower.
Open from breakfast to late night, Miralto restaurant serves a modern take on traditional Mexican food, spiced up with international elements. There is also is a large range of refreshing cocktails and both local and international wines.
Visit the Miralto rooftop for a nice lunch, romantic dinner or just a cocktail in the bar anywhere in between. Preferably around sunset when the amazing views are even more fantastic. Entrance to the Latin American Tower is free when you visit the bar and restaurant.
Expect a sophisticated and jazzy ambience, and for visits at the 41st floor restaurant, reservations are recommended. Otherwise, just drop in for drinks at the stylish Nivel 40 SkyBar one floor below.
Tip: This sky-high venu also includes a third space, with the Miralto Café on the 37th floor. Perfect for coffee with a view.
