Sky Lounge Moscow really lives up to its name, perched on the 22nd floor of the Russian Academy of Sciences building, right next to Sparrow Hills park. 100 meters up you get a magical panoramic view over Moscow River and almost the complete skyline. Impressive, to say the least.
Stylish and classic in setting, towards high-end, the spacious outdoor roof terrace is only open in the summer, while the indoor restaurant (with panoramic windows) is open year round.
Up here you can enjoy a wide array of high-level international dishes, ranging from oysters and pasta to wok and sushi. So there should be something for everyone. The rooftop bar serves a large and impressive collection of wines along with bubbles and classic cocktails.
Relaxing and sophisticated in vibe, Sky Lounge is open from lunch to late dinner. With its calm ambience it is a great spot for a romantic dinner. Just make sure to reserve a table if you plan to eat, and ask for seating on the terrace (or by a window during the colder months). Or just head up for a drink at the bar and enjoy the amazing views.
