Located on the top floor of the prestigious Deutsches Museum, one of the most extensive museums of science and technology in the world, Frau im Mond Rooftop is a spacious and stylish rooftop restaurant and bar, offering an elevated full day experience.
A given spot to visit for anyone attending the mueseum, but Frau im Mond also has a direct outside elevator to the right of the main entrance, and is open to all, museum ticket or not.
Opened during 2022, the rooftop mixes an airy interior lounge with a 600 square meters outdoor terrace, where you find both dining tables and comfy lounge spots. Here you get a unique view over 3 bridges (Wittelsbacher, Reichenbach & Cornelius), as well as over Isar river.
The rooftop menu includes a variety of Mediterranean-isnpired cuisine, based on the principle of sustainability and created by Chef Alexander Högner. The food is complemented with an extensive selection of wines, as well as crafted drinks from Bar Chef Sergio Cortez.
Usually open from early morning to late night, Frau im Mond Rooftop offers everything from breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, to sundowners with DJs and a great atmosphere. The rooftop is also open year-round, perfect for sunny summer outings, as well as comfy winter experiences with rooftop curling.
