Bookmarks Rooftop Lounge is a lovely and elegant rooftop garden, located at the 14th floor of the fantastic Library Hotel. Here you are close to both Grand Central and (suitably enough) the New York Public Library.

Bookmarks Lounge is equipped with both a cozy indoor lounge, and a green and quite lush rooftop terrace. The terrace also holds two greenhouses where you can stay warm and still watch the stars. While the views from the terrace are not panoramic, they are still really cool among all the surrounding skyscrapers.

The rooftop menu plays with the library theme and you can choose between different specialty cocktails, like the 'Tequila Mockingbird', 'Bookmarks’ Hemingway' or 'Dante’s Inferno'. There is also an exciting set of specialty sangrias, along with the classics of wine, beer, spirits and some small plates to nibble on.

The atmosphere at the Bookmarks rooftop is usually quite charming and calm, with a friendly service, perfect for a more private get together. Or even for some reading. After all, you are surrounded by collections of Dylan Thomas and Walt Whitman.

However, on a sunny day the terrace can get quite full, so be in time if you wanna catch the best spot to enjoy the sun and some cocktails.
