After a major transformation, the 16th floor at the luxurious Conrad New York Downtown has bid farewell to Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar, and will instead welcome Leonessa, an elegant Italian-inspired rooftop cocktail bar.

Perched high above the heart of downtown Manhattan, the open-air rooftop evokes the splendor of an Italian terrace at golden hour, and comes adorned with lush lemon trees, verdant greenery, an Amalfi Coast-inspired fountain and bold, colorful seating. The view will however tell you that you're still in NYC, with breathtaking vistas over the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty.

Created in partnership with New York beverage authority Ariel Arce, Leonessa's elevated bar program is a love letter to Italy's rich drinking traditions, showcasing an expertly-curated selection of spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages. The cocktail menu seamlessly blends timeless classics with inventive modern interpretations, organized into Spritzes, Bitters, Frutte, Martinis, and Specialty Cocktails – ensuring there's something for everyone.

As a nod to Italian tradition, each cocktail at the rooftop bar will be served with a rotating menu of complimentary aperitivo-style snacks, designed to enhance the drinking experience, and changing every evening.

Found in a part of Manhattan where rooftop bars are a rarity, Leonessa is a true hidden gem, bound to become an elevated summer hot-spot for Aperitivo hours, sunset drinks, or an after hours nightcap.
