Overview

After almost 100 years, the Roosevelt Hotel closed in late 2020, and so did the Mad46 Rooftop Bar.

Mad46 Rooftop Bar is a cool cocktail bar in New york, located on the 19th floor of the classic Roosevelt Hotel. High above it all, and up here you get a great view among Manhattan's skyscrapers.

Smack in the middle of all the high buildings, you really feel that you are in the city when walking out on the terrace. Which also has a great 'old school' New York vibe to it.

The rooftop is only open during weekdays and it is a very popular after-work spot. This creates a sophisticated, yet festive and chilled atmosphere.

The bar offers an impressive drink list, with specialty cocktails, draft beers and wines / sparkling in both glass and by the bottle. There is also a tasty set of bar bites, like Skirt Steak Taco, Truffle Pizza and Kobe Sliders.

On rainy days, retractable awnings are available to keep everyone dry. Or you just head in to the stylish indoor lounge.

The best time to visit Mad46 rooftop is around sunset, which is really cool among all the sky scrapers. And then preferably stay for the late Happy Hour, starting at 9pm.

Reservations are recommended, but it's also possible to just pop by and try your luck.
