Mr Purple NYC is a lovely rooftop bar and restaurant in New York, located on the luxurious Hotel Indigo Lower East Side, belonging to the Gerber Group. The roof terrace is decorated in a modern industrial style, with concrete floor, free hanging lights, brick wall behind the bar and with contemporary wooden furniture.

Up here you actually find two terraces (and an indoor lounge). A smaller one for private parties and a bit calmer atmosphere, and a large terrace with a little more vibrant feel and a rooftop pool. One of the best NYC rooftop pools.

The menu at Mr Pruple is impressive, both regarding drinks and food. Here you find classic cocktails with a twist, specialty cocktails, craft cocktails carbonated and bottled in-house, rotating seasonal selection of beer on tap and all types of wine.

There is an all day food menu offering American dishes, like the Mr Purple Burger and Smashed Avocado Toast. And on weekends, you can also enjoy the great brunch menu.

The views from Mr Purple rooftop bar are fantastic, with magnificent vistas of New York and its amazing skyline. Goes hand in hand with the great ambience at the terrace; vibrant but still relaxed, with nice music setting the lounge tone.

Popular venue, so reservations are recommended (especially in evenings). And remember that the Mr Purple dress code is smart casual, which means no flip flops, sports wear or torn clothes.
