Overview
New and chill rooftop bar & lounge above Williamsburg.
Perched on top of the Pod Brooklyn in Williamsburg, one of New York’s most vibrant and trendy neighborhoods, Slate Rooftop is a new addition to the ever-growing NYC rooftop scene.
A follow-up to the iconic hot-spot Slate NY in Chelsea, but the Slate Rooftop is a much more open-air venue. The industrial chic and 125-seat terrace mixes laid-back lounge spot with tables and bar seating, framed by panoramic views over Williamsburg and all the way to the Manhattan skyline.
Up here you can enjoy a menu filled with specialty cocktails from Liquid Lab NYC, frose, and a rotating selection of beers on tap, as well as shareable dishes created by Executive Chef Darryl Harmon. From Korean Spicy Cauliflower and Philly Cheesesteak Empanadas, to Cheeseburger Sliders an artisanal pizzas.
Open pretty much daily, Slate Rooftop is bound to be one of the alfresco go-to spots this summer, both for relaxing and sunny afternoon bites and drinks, as well as elevated evening fun.
Note: To get to the rooftop you are encouraged to take the stairway from Metropolitan Avenue. This will not only help save energy, just as the solar panels that supply energy across the rooftop, but it will also allow you to enjoy the display of local artists installations along the way.
