Overview
On this somewhat hidden, but quite magical rooftop bar called 43 Up On the Roof ('Le Quarante Trois'), you get a spectacular 360-degree view of the Paris skyline as far as the eye can see.
Perched on the 9th floor of the Holiday Inn Paris Notre Dame, the rooftop bar is open nightly and in full swing during spring and summer. In winter you can still go up, but if you want a drink you need to bring it from the lobby bar.
The terrace is quite lush, with lots of plants and vegetation, a bit like a rooftop garden. And wile the interior is stylish, it is also pretty simple, with mainly regular tables to sit at.
The full service rooftop bar serves classic coktails, wine, champagne, beer and anything else you might need, along with smaller bites and plates to share.
While 43 Up On the Roof usually comes with a soft and relaxing vibe and not a crazy large crowd, the bar does not take reservations, so be in good time to make sure to get a table.
One of the most chill rooftop bars Paris has to offer, perfect to enjoy a magic sunset followed by cosy lighting as darkness falls.
