The Straw Hat Hostel & Rooftop Bar in Tulum is the place to stay, or the place to visit, if you are looking for fun times in an elevated setting.
While not on the beach, but rather on the main road in central Tulum, the rooftop very much looks and feels like a vibrant beach bar. Bamboo bungalows and and a tropical bar are complemented with a small but refreshing rooftop pool.
Starting off with breakfast by the pool for guests staying at the hostel, every day turns into a happening day and night at the rooftop. There are weekly events like karaoke night, beer pong tournaments and pool party's, and daily specials on pretty much all the drinks.
The rooftop menu includes pretty much everything you can imagine in terms of drinks, as well as quite filling bar bites, like burgers and tacos.
