Overview
Intimate and laidback rooftop bar, right by Petco Park.
The Fairweather rooftop bar is somewhat a hidden gem, tucked away in an alley down J Street in Gaslamp Quarter San Diego. Or in other words: it's located just by Petco Park.
From the intimate and laidback second floor rooftop terrace you get some really cool views over the stadium, and the greenery of the Park at the Park.
With a Mediterranen-style decoration, with many shades of blue, Fairweather is a great and relaxing spot to enjoy the warm San Diego climate. The rooftop bar also specializes in 'drinks from sunny places'.
Apart from unique and hand-crafted cocktails, there is also a gastropub style food menu, including shareables, sandwiches, burgers and some crafted entrees, like 'Short Rib Gnocchi'.
Friendly in atmosphere, Fairweather is of course a top venue for pre- or post baseball game drinks, or to get a VIP view for concerts at the Park at the Park. But usually open daily and nightly, you can also swing by for the 4-6pm happy hour, or just about anytime for fine vibes, cocktails and views.
Below the rooftop you also find the sister venue Rare Fom, a bar and restaurant serving some of the best tacos in town, along with several local beers on tap.
