Overview
A hidden gem on the buzzing King Street in Newton.
Found right in the middle of King Street Newtown, Corridor is a cosy neighbourhood-feel bar, complete with a relaxing rooftop beer garden.
From the trashy-chic, quirky and urban downstairs bar, you can follow a rickety staircase that leads you through neon, candle-lit hideaways up to the sunny terrace, with views of Newtown and Sydney’s iconic skyline. There is also an intimate, share-house style Upstairs Lounge Room, with vintage décor and street-art-covered walls.
With a reputation for being an essential Newtown cocktail bar, Corridor is famous for their fantastic coktails, made to perfection by the very friendly bar staff. Expect to find both old favourites, and creative new ones.
Cocktails aside, there is also a nice selection of wines, craft brews and ciders, as well as tasty food from Confusion Eats, ranging from evolving burger options to salads, share plates and sides.
Come for after work drinks and happy hour every Monday-Friday until 7pm, and try to catch a spot at one of the wooden benches on the comfy rooftop. Or hang by the bar downstairs, and enjoy the friendly vibe, live music and creative drinks.
