Overview
Taps, tunes and Chinese, with a rooftop overlooking the bustling streets of Darlinghurst.
After a refresh, The Taphouse and Elm Rooftop Bar has reopened as Taphouse Sydney, a local and modern venue in the heart of Darlinghurst.
Filled with history, Taphouse Sydney offers taps, tunes and Chinese over three levels, with an earthy and intimate interior main bar, leading up to the bright and blue-and-white rooftop terrace. Equipped with a retractable roof, the terrace might not offer the most panoramic views, but the vistas over the bustling streets of Darlinghurst are still pretty cool.
The Taphouse Sydney menu features classic Cantonese dishes made perfect to share, created by Head Chef Sam Ng, as well as 20 plus taps, and a nice range of wines and cocktails.
The full menu is served across all three levels, so you can enjoy the food and drinks with live sports inside, or even better, while you soak up the sunshine on the rooftop.
