Overview
Revamped 99 year old hotel with Mediterranean-inspired rooftop bar.
Standing strong for 99 years, The Strand Hotel is an iconic part of the Darlinghurst neighborhood, but a recent change of owners and renovations means a fresh new (and elevated) experience.
Mixing Sydney sophistication with a hint of French glamour, the venue includes the ground floor Strand Bistrotheque and a 17-room boutique hotel on the middle floors, but the real crown jewel is found on top: Kasbah Rooftop.
Surrounded by views over the downtown Sydney skyline, the rooftop comes filled with inspiration form Morocca and the Mediterranean, offering a playful and vibrant mix of textures, white linen couches and lush greenery.
The Kasbah menu includes adventurous cocktails curated by Maybe Sammy, crisp craft beers and a plethora of natural wines. Drinks are complemented with French-Moroccan dishes perfect to share, ranging from dips & pita to small plates and selections from the grill.
Inviting to an elevated Mediterranean journey, with sounds of Balearic funk and soul in the background, Kasbah at The Strand Hotel is a bound to be a hot-spot for both drinks in the afternoon sun, as well as social nights above Darlinghurst.
