The ABV Rooftop Bar is found on top of The Grand Wellington steakhouse, right in the heart of Courtenay Place.

Part indoor lounge, and part charming outdoor terrace with both open-air and covered seating, the rooftop is open Wednesday to Saturday to enjoy drinks, bites and great views over the Te Aro rooftops and buzzing Courtenay Place.

The rooftop bar pay special attention to details and ingredients, seeking to share creativity through food and cocktails. The ever-changing menu includes curated and creative cocktails, five regularly cycling taps, and many bottles of New Zealand’s finest craft beer. There is also bites and snacks made perfect to complement the drinks, but for more filling meals, The Grand below is probably a better option.

Known for providing a down-to-earth atmosphere and friendly service, ABV Rooftop Bar is a great option for sunny drinks, or more comfy ones under heaters and blankets when the temperature is a bit lower.
