Lumphini (also know as Lumpini and Lumpinee) is the biggest public park in Bangkok and also home to some spectacular rooftop bars. Ambiance: Vertigo & Moon rooftop bar at Banyan Tree Bangkok is located on the 61st floor, offering an outstanding 360-degree view of the Bangkok skyline and its surroundings. It is a double setting, where the restaurant part is called Vertigo and the bar is called Moon Bar.
Food & Drinks: At the Banyan Tree Bangkok rooftop bar you will find most you could crave in terms of beverages. From the illuminated bar you can order expensive champagnes, exotic cocktails, beer, wine, non-alcoholic - you name it. Top tip is to enjoy a signature 'Vertigo Sunset', and best time for that is, of course, when sun sets over Bangkok. The food at the stylish rooftop restaurant ranges from seafood to premium steaks and is, just like the drinks, top class. The price is accordingly, but still many consider this as the best among the rooftop restaurants in Bangkok, and most claim it is definitely worth every penny.
What we think: Food and drinks aside, the most impressive thing about Vertigo and Moon Bar is the amazing view. Breathtaking 360° degree views over all of Bangkok, where the real daredevils can step out on the glass-floored 'Moon Walk'. All in all, Vertigo & Moon Bar at Banyan Tree Bangkok is a pretty much a must-visit, and the combo of elevated alfresco dining and stylish drinks does not get much better.

Ambiance: Open afternoons and evenings, Bar.Yard comes with a vibrant 'backyard party' feel, often visited by well-known DJs. Close to Lumphini Park, on top of the fantastic Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, Bar.Yard offers a lush, tropical and vibrant rooftop experience, just underneath the clouds of Bangkok.
Food & Drinks: Offering a tiki-inspired bar menu coupled with elements of an American backyard barbecue, here you can indulge in refreshing tropical cocktails and craft beers, as well as an extensive selection of food created by Executive Chef Lamberto Valdez Lara, from classic barbecue favourites with a unique twist, to signature farm-to-plate dishes.
What we think: We liked both the lively party vibe, the well-made cocktails and the lovely city vistas. Located 40 floors above ground, the bright, colorful and urban rooftop garden mixes both roof covered and alfresco seating seamlessly, all surrounded with amazing views over the Bangkok skyline.

Ambiance: The Speakeasy Rooftop Bar is an award-winning Bangkok sky bar located on the 24th and 25th floor of the fantastic Hotel Muse Bangkok Langsuan. The rooftop is inspired by the elusive hideaway bars of 1920s prohibition-era America, and there is an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere surrounding the rooftop, as well as fantastic views of the Bangkok skyline.
Food & Drinks: At the Hotel Muse rooftop you can indulge in an impressive cocktail list, containing a large and crafted selection of both signature and classic cocktails. There is also a Michelin cook that serves Asian small dishes with an international touch.
What we think: If you are looking for a sophisticated night out, with good views, the finest drinks, friendly service and a nice and relaxed atmosphere, The Speakeasy Bangkok is one of the best rooftop bars in Bangkok to visit.

In addition to the stunning rooftop bar, there is also a very nice restaurant and a luxurious and modern infinity rooftop swimming pool found here (pool is for hotel guests only). The view from CHAR Bar Bangkok is absolutely wonderful. Mighty and impressive views over the Bangkok's skyline, fantastic both during the day and at night.
Food & Drinks: The rooftop bar menu includes mixology cocktails matching the views: wonderful, creative and tasty. Try the 'Lovers’ Confession' (sweet/sour), consisting of Beefeater 24, lime, syrup, cucumber, lemon bitter, thyme, egg white and pomegranate. The drinks are complemented with some bar bites as well as cigars.
What we think: So if you are looking for a full night with both rooftop dinner and drinks, combined with magical views in a luxurious and friendly environment, then CHAR Bangkok is a great rooftop bar in Bangkok to visit. The pool is only available for hotel guests, but luckily there is a stylish rooftop bar on the same floor, open to all.
