Covering the top floor of the excellent 45 Times Barcelona Hotel, the spacious and multi-level terrace mixes dining tables and comfy loungers with lush plants and a glittering infinity rooftop pool. All surrounded by amazing panoramas stretching from the Sagrada Familia to the Mediterranean Sea, as well as a bird's eye view over Plaça Catalunya.
Drinks & Food: While the rooftop pool is exclusive to guests staying at the hotel, Sky Bar is open daily for all to enjoy a cosmopolitan and elevated experience. The rooftop menu includes refreshing and crafted cocktails, a great selection of sangria, wine and champagne, as well as poolside bites, like salads, club sandwich, pizza and burger.
What we think: Skybar 45 has been one of our favorite rooftop bars in Barcelona for a long while. And after our visit this year, it’s still holds is position as one of the go-to rooftops here. Elegant yet urban and relaxing, Skybar 45 Times Barcelona Hotel is a popular Barcelona hot-spot, and you can visit for sunny poolside drinks and bites, romantic sunset sessions, or fun-filled and buzzing evenings with a trendy crowd and DJ sessions from Thursday to Sunday.

Ambiance: From La Terraza del Central (also known as Sky Bar at Grand Hotel Central Barcelona), you get a magical ocean and city view. The roof terrace is equipped with a rooftop infinity pool, lounge chairs, sofas, tables and an exclusive vibe. During daytime (in summer) the rooftop pool and bar at Grand Hotel Central is usually exclusive to guests staying at the hotel. While the rooftop pool is always exclusive, non-guests are welcome after later in the day, when the rooftop bar is open for all.
Drinks and Food: Head on up to enjoy the stylish atmosphere, Mediterranean-inspired bites and cocktails made to perfection. Immensely popular, so for dining visits reservations are highly recommended. In winter, the terrace is usually also open for the public during weekends, when you can enjoy 'Vermut Con Vistas', along with tapas and live music.
What we think: We love this rooftop! Ever since our first visit in 2017, we always come here when we’re in Barcelona. The best thing about Grand Hotel Central rooftop is however the fantastic rooftop infinity pool, which is one of the coolest in Europe and by far the best rooftop pool Barcelona has to offer.

Ambiance: Found ten floors up at the fantastic hotel The Barcelona EDITION in Ciutat Vella, The Roof is created to become one of Barcelona's top hangout spots. With a definite 'wow-factor', the EDITION terrace is both beautiful and natural, with lots of greenery, wooden accents and a unique plunge pool. Adding to the beauty: the amazing and panoramic views over Barcelona, including the colorful roof of the Mercat de Santa Caterina.
Drinks and Food: From the rooftop bar you can enjoy made-to-share dishes that mix Latin American cuisine with Asian flavors. The drink menu is both seasonal and organic, including beers, wines and other spirits, but the stand-out drinks are the innovative cocktails, along with the healthy juices and delicious smoothies.
What we think: Having one of the best views and being one of the trendiest spots in Barcelona, we can just join the praise for this rooftop. A visit here is a “must thing” when in Barcelona 2025. Open daily from noon, you can visit The Roof for some sunny bites and drinks, or come by at night when both the city and the terrace glitter with beautiful lights. Thanks to a retractable roof and slidable crystal doors, this is also one of the few year-round rooftops in Barcelona.

Ambiance: La Dolce Vitae at Majestic Hotel Barcelona is a place that breathes quality throughout. Stunning 360° views of Barcelona, including vistas over la Sagrada Familia and Montjuic.
You can also find a small, but still one of the best, Barcelona rooftop pools up here. The terrace comes with a nice lounge vibe on weekdays, and a bit more crowded and festive atmosphere on weekends. During summer, every day from 20.00 is 'Majestic Sunset Sessions', with international DJs turning Barcelona a bit closer to Ibiza.
Drinks and Food: The chef up at La Dolce Vitae is a Michelin chef, so the food is absolutely top class. From the Iberic ham to the beef burger and Mediterranean tuna tartar. In other words, not just a great rooftop bar but also one of the best rooftop restaurants in Barcelona. As you might have guessed, the price tag is of the same rank as the class, with signature cocktails around 22€. But it is worth every penny.
What we think: We can recommend anyone in Barcelona to visit this rooftop. We’ve been here 5 times in the last 6 years and we’re still in love with it. If you want the full package, you should book your stay here so you can enjoy the pool as well. On a regular evening, the rooftop bar does not take reservations. So just show up and enjoy, but try to be in good time. The terrace can however be booked for private events.

What we think: Come here for the drinks and the view. Preferable during sunset! With a modern and trendy lounge vibe, Eleven BCN is a fantastic Barcelona rooftop bar to enjoy fantastic sunsets complemented with fantastic drinks. As a guest staying at NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderon you can also enjoy relaxing hours by the outdoor rooftop swimming pool, located next door to the rooftop bar.
