Ambiance: On top of the 5-star hotel Altis Avenida, close to Rossio Square in the heart of Lisbon, you used to find the rooftop restaurant Brasserie Rossio. But since spring 2019 the hotel holds a new rooftop venue, called Rossio Gastrobar. Regarding the view, the amazing panoramas over Lisbon includes famous spots like Rossio plaza, the Santa Justa Lift, Tagus River and the Rua Agustina Arch.
Drinks and Food:From the rooftop bar you can order fantastic signature cocktails prepared by Flavi Andrade. Following the seasons, all ingredients are made from scratch, and the drinks are truly hand-crafted and unique creations. Open from noon to late at night most days of the week, Rossio Gastrobar is a great spot for relaxing and sunny pre-dinner cocktails and bites. But also for late night drinks and a bit more vibe, highlighted by live DJs during weekends. A bit more expensive than the general rooftop bar Lisbon, but with first class service and quality in food and drinks it is well worth it. The Rossio Gastrobar should definitely be on the 'must-visit' list.

5. Silk Club
Elegant rooftop restaurant and bar, combined with vibrant club.
Photo: The Rooftop Guide
Expert Tips
- Best sushi in Lisbon.
- Dress for success and go full out on the party.
Gallery
Overview
Ambiance: Silk Club is a versatile rooftop, offering both a top-class clubbing and dining experience. It's definitely one of the best rooftop restaurants in Lisbon, and as a side, you also get amazing 270-degree views over Lisbon and the ocean. Up here you find a very trendy and stylish terrace, decorated in a classic lounge style with large comfortable sofas. The indoor restaurant is equally stylish, and does not feel very indoors, thanks to large windows and open walls out to the terrace.
Drinks and Food: From the restaurant you can order a wide selection of fresh Japanese dishes, like Sushi and Wagyu Beef. Or you settle for drinks from the bar, which offers tasty and well-made cocktails, along with fine selections of wine, champagne and spirits. The atmosphere at the Silk Club is always luxurious and sophisticated, but a bit different depending on the hour of the night. Opening at 7pm, the terrace is the perfect spot for early night sunset cocktails and the restaurant for a fine rooftop dinner.
What we think: We’ve been here 3 times since 2017, and we’re still in love with Silk Club! After midnight (especially on weekends) the mood transforms towards the clubbing experience, and it is the place to be for a rooftop party with a trendy crowd. Reservations for dinner is highly recommended, and after midnight you can also reserve a table for the club and bottle service. The terrace however works on a first come, first served basis (as does the small 8 seat sushi bar inside), so try to be in good time to catch a spot on the quite small outside area.
Dress code: The Silk Club dress code is smart casual. Gym shorts, tanks, hats, caps, sportswear and/or flip flops are not allowed.
