After visiting over 33 rooftop bars in Madrid ourselves and researched among locals and travel bloggers, we could narrow it down to the 5 that we beleive are the most hyped and "must visit" terrazas in Madrid in 2025.

Ambiance: Located in a 19th-century building in the Salamanca district of Madrid, the rooftop terrace is a true urban escape from the bustling streets below. Eight floors up you get spectacular and panoramic views over the Madrid skyline. But views are far from all the BLESS Hotel rooftop has to offer. This modern and natural space is really the place to be on a sunny day. Equipped with comfy lounge furniture, silky Balinese beds and, a lovely and refreshing emerald rooftop pool.
Drinks & Food: Picos Pardos Sky Lounge by Martini is open to all during the whole year. The rooftop bar offers summer aperitifs and crafted signature cocktails, like the 'Relaxing Cosmo', along with an excellent wine menu. There is also a fresh and exciting food menu, filled with gastronomic and global proposals. Shareables like 'Vietnamese Confit Duck Rolls' and 'Crispy Taco with Mexican Shrimp' are complemented with rice and pasta dishes, as well as tasty mains, ranging from 'Matured Beef Tenderloin' to 'Low-temperature Cod'.
What we think: We’ve visited this rooftop two times during the latest 4 years. And last time (late 2024) we fell in love with the rooftop completely. Lush and natural, with Asian touches and a cosmopolitan atmosphere, Picos Pardos rooftop bar is a great place to enjoy luxurious vibes with a group of friends, both day and night. Pool, views, food and drinks, all top notch. What more do you need?

Ambiance: Located at the amazing NH Collection Madrid Suecia, the Casa Suecia offers a food and cocktail experience in many different settings. The true gem is the top floor terrace and rooftop bar. Set over two levels, the Casa Suecia rooftop bar is truly a beautiful destination. Equipped with a large and stylish bar and plenty of comfy sofas all along the edge, it is framed by a fantastic 360º view over Madrid, including Cibeles and the Retiro.
Drinks and Food: The rooftop bar menu includes an extensive selection of well-made cocktails, as well as tasty sangria and Mediterranean-inspired finger food and grilled dishes. Try to time the beautiful sunset, and since the rooftop does not take reservations, try to be in good time.
What we think: Casa Suecia is the perfect rooftop in Madrid for pre-dinner drinks or afternoon cocktails. The sweeping views of the city and fantastic Sangria are two great reasons to come here. Offering a relaxing lounge vibe during daytime / afternoon, Casa Suecia turns more vibrant during evenings, with resident DJs creating the soundtrack.

Ambiance: Perched nine floors up, at the fantastic NH Collection Gran Vía, Picalagartos Sky Bar offers not only stunning 360-degree views of Madrid, but also one of the best cocktail bars in the city. The entire building is a real architectural gem, designed with a neo-Baroque style that makes it stand out from all nearby structures. And the rooftop bar and terrace are just about as beautiful, with a wonderful bohemian style and a laid-back and relaxed atmosphere that invites guests to remember the 50's.
Drinks and Food: Picalagartos is both a rooftop bar and restaurant, where the indoor dining room is found one floor below the sky bar. Here you can enjoy dishes with a seasonal twist to traditional Spanish cuisine, basing the articles of the menu on the ingredients available at the time of your visit. The top floor rooftop bar also offers smaller bites from the restaurant menu, but focuses mostly on drinks. From mixology cocktails by Luca Anastasio, to a wide selection of Gins, premium spirits and some beers / wine.
What we think: Probably one of the trendiest rooftop bars in the city, we can recommend coming here if you like beautiful people, well-made cocktails and a view to die for. Settle down in one of the comfy lounge sofas and enjoy a great and relaxing atmosphere, fine drinks and lovely views. Reservations are possible for the 8th floor restaurant, but the rooftop bar works on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ambiance: Perched on top of the lovely H10 Puerta de Alcalá, right next to Retiro Park, El Cielo de Alcalá offers an elevated and cozy setting to enjoy a summerish Madrid from above. While the spectacular glassed-in rooftop pool might be the most notable feature of the terrace (exclusive to hotel guests), the lush and stylish 8th floor venue has a lot more to offer. Including impressive views over El Retiro Park and the Salamanca district, extra spectacular when the sun sets behind the Madrid skyline.
Drinks and Food: The El Cielo de Alcalá rooftop menu includes plenty of refreshing cocktails and drinks, as well as Mediterranean-inspired tapas dishes and a weekend brunch selection.
What we think: We love this rooftop bar! Most because the lovely vibe and the sweeping city views. Relaxing and friendly in atmosphere, it is easy to understand why the breezy H10 Puerta de Alcalá rooftop is one of Madrid's favorite hangouts for drinks and bites with a view. It’s one of our favorites as well.
Dress code: The El Cielo de Alcalá dress code is casual. Casual dress code refers to clothing that is informal and comfortable, yet clean and professional. It’s best to go with nicer casual wear and avoid the baggier items you wear around the house.

Ambiance: During 2024, Azotea Grupo took over the food & beverage operation at the beautiful building Palacio de Cibeles, inviting to three spaces and three moods. This includes the second floor all day Café Cibeles, and the more elevated Azotea Cibeles and Cornamusa Cibeles.
Drinks and Food: Floating six floors above Plaza de Cibeles, Cornamusa is an indoor/outdoor rooftop restaurant offering haute cuisine with flavours of Madrid, while Azotea Cibeles is a rooftop bar and terrace, focusing more on drinks and snacks. Surrounded by amazing views over Madrid, here you can indulge in unique signature cocktails, elegant interpretations of legendary classics, wine by both the glass and bottle, as well as bites ranging from croquetas de jamón ibérico to hamburguesa clásica.
What we think: CoWe’ve only been here once, as it’s fairly new. But our first impression was great! We had a late lunch with drinks up here which was super nice. Trendy and chic in setting and atmosphere, Azotea Cibeles is open for sunny afternoon sessions, vibrant aperitivos con vista, or elevated Madrid evenings, always offering a unique view of the city.
