With a convivial and festive atmosphere, Pastel Rooftop Bar and Mediterranean Dining is a venue made to share good food, conversation and laughter, as well as vibrant nights with talented musicians, dancers, and DJs.
Ambience: Open nightly from 5pm, the rooftop menu comes filled with Mediterranean flavors and aromas, using only farm-to-table ingredients. Here you find everything from classic small plates, refined crudo and flavorful seafood dishes, to Mediterranean signature cocktails, Margaritas, champagne, and a large selection of wines.
What we think: One of our favorite rooftops in Bangkok! Pastel Bangkok is a beautiful slice of the Mediterranean, high above Bangkok. Perched on top of the modern and stylish Aira Hotel Bangkok on Sukhumvit 11, Pastel Rooftop welcomes you on board for a culinary, elevated and Mediterranean-inspired journey. We love both the food, the service, the vibe and the party up here. For us, it's a must every time we're in town.

PASTEL ROOFTOP BAR
The Party: Nestled on the 29th floor of the Mövenpick Hotel Ekkamai, Tulum Skybar is an elevated rooftop oasis, where every moment is infused with the vibrant culture, flavors, and lively rhythms of Tulum. Opened on December 25, 2023, the venue captures the spirit of the seaside city of Tulum, Mexico, with its outdoor interior adorned in homage to the Mexican Caribbean.
Ambience: High above it all, here you can delight in signature concoctions such as the 'Aztec Fire Potion', or savor the refreshing 'Cenote Caramel Splash', crafted with Jose Cuervo, pineapple, passion fruit, and salted caramel. Food-wise, you can explore a fusion of flavors with a selection of alternative Thai and Japanese dishes, inspired by the culinary landscapes of Tulum and the Yucatan Peninsula.
What we think: Maybe not the best view in Bangkok. But what they lack in view, they gain in atmosphere. The party up here is amazing! Open nightly, Tulum Skybar really brings a pulsating and refreshing experience to the Bangkok rooftop scene, promising a welcoming atmosphere ensures a fun and friendly setting. Head up for the 5pm to 7pm happy hour and indulge in the 'buy 1 get 1 free' offer on mocktails and cocktails, and stay for the DJ beats, fire shows and buzzing atmosphere.

TULUM SKYBAR
The Party: Stylish and trendy, yet urban and vibrant, Above Eleven offers a fun night out in Bangkok all week round. There are live DJs playing every night, sometimes topped off with live jazz. Above Eleven is a unique Bangkok rooftop bar, located on the 33rd and 34th floor of the fabulous Fraser Suites Sukhumvit. Awesome in design, the rooftop bar resembles an urban city park with structural trees, a maze and even a bathroom with a fantastic view of the Bangkok skyline.
Ambience: Up here you can enjoy both fresh and authentic food, as well as top class drinks. The Above Eleven rooftop menu includes Peruvian Japanese Cuisine called ‘Nikkei’, served as both platters, nibbles and mains. Along with a great selection of Sushi & Sashimi, the rooftop bar also serves some fantastic signature cocktails. Both as compliment to the food, but also if you just want to sip on a Peruvian-inspired drink.
What we think: We recommend doing the full dinner experience followed by hours partying under the stars. While not cheap, the Above Eleven rooftop offers great value for money, considering what you get. Top class food, drinks, service and atmosphere, all to some amazing views. A popular Bangkok venue, so reservations are recommended, especially for dinner.
Dress code: The Above Eleven dress code is smart casual, so dress neatly and arrive with a great party mood and you are guaranteed a memorable and elevated evening.
ABOVE ELEVEN
The Party: At the newly opened (late 2024) SIN Rooftop Bar, you’ll get one of the best and most trendy rooftop parties in Bangkok. Up here they explore the latest trends in music and mixology. SIN offers a glimpse into what’s new and next in music. A star-studded line-up of local and international DJs drop beats above the city here every week. Expect dancers on the bar counters creating an amazing part atmosphere.
Ambience: The delicious cocktails along with chefs serving up a modern twist on familiar flavours. You’ll also have a culinary experience out of the ordinary at SIN. Here you can indulge in one of Bangkok’s most coveted cocktails and become part of the “skyline at SIN” as they call it themselves.
What we think: The fantastic interior and design makes this one of the coolest party with a view experiences you can find. A must is the check out their event calendar for themed nights a special parties. Reservations are highly recommended as this is one of the most trendy and popular party hot spots in Bangkok 2025.
Dress code: Dress too impress! The clientele is super trendy. So, to blend in, put your finest party clothes and shoes on and get ready for a memorable night!
SIN ROOFTOP BAR
The Party: Open afternoons and evenings, Bar.Yard comes with a vibrant 'backyard party' feel, often visited by well-known DJs. Visit for a rooftop cocktail with views, a casual-elevated dinner experience, or a full night of fun. Close to Lumphini Park, on top of the fantastic Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, Bar.Yard offers a lush, tropical and vibrant rooftop experience, just underneath the clouds of Bangkok.
Ambiance: Offering a tiki-inspired bar menu coupled with elements of an American backyard barbecue, here you can indulge in refreshing tropical cocktails and craft beers, as well as an extensive selection of food created by Executive Chef Lamberto Valdez Lara, from classic barbecue favourites with a unique twist, to signature farm-to-plate dishes.
What we think: We liked both the lively party vibe, the well-made cocktails and the lovely city vistas. Located 40 floors above ground, the bright, colorful and urban rooftop garden mixes both roof covered and alfresco seating seamlessly, all surrounded with amazing views over the Bangkok skyline.

Bar.Yard
The Party: This jungle-themed rooftop, which opened in late 2020, has already made a big splash with both locals and visitors. The standout feature is definitely the LED-lit "tree" that sways behind the bar. But Tichuca isn’t just about that eye-catching tree - it’s got a whole vibe going on. The perfect party rooftop for all ages (over 20) and for both locals and tourists. Stretched across three floors, filled with lush greenery and wooden furniture, all set against stunning views of the city.
Ambiance: The jungle theme carries over to the drink menu, with refreshing tiki-style cocktails served in pineapples or coconuts. They also offer small bites, but the real draw is the drinks and the fun atmosphere. This is not the place you come to for dinner. Tichuca is all about party, views and drinks.
What we think: After visiting Tichuca Rooftop Bar, it quickly became one of our favorite rooftop spots in Bangkok. It’s no surprise that Tichuca is especially popular with the younger crowd. Since it operates on a walk-in only basis, We’d recommend arriving early if you don’t want to wait. Even so, expect a bit of a line to get up to the top, but trust us, it’s well worth it once you’re there!
Dress code: Casual dress code. Which means that as long as you have a clean shirt, pants and shoes on, you will be fine. And the causal dress code often says more about the vibe than the clothes per say. A sense of 'all are welcome'.
TICHUCA
The Party: We were blown away by foremost the view but also the superb vibe. The rooftop bar offered a calm yet lively atmosphere, inspired by Hanuman, the monkey god from Thai lore. The highlight was watching the sunset with sweeping views of the Bangkok city scape. As the evening progressed, the view shifted to showcase the rivers and temples beautifully lit up against the night sky. This is a rooftop experience like no other in Bangkok. Very genuine and rare compared to most other rooftops you can visit around here.
Ambiance: The kitchen brings the river view flavours up into the sky. How about some grilled jumbo size river prawns with Thailands most famous dish “Tom Yum Goong”. Everything up here are influenced by the Thai culture and cuisine. The drinks with fruits of Thailand extracted into balanced cocktails are a must try. Not your classic signature cocktail list.
What we think: Akara Sky Hanuman Bangkok is one of the newest additions to the Bangkok rooftop scene, and it’s definitely worth checking out. Located on the 61st floor of One City Center in Ploenchit, just across from Central Embassy, the bar offers stunning 360-degree view (almost). As the second tallest rooftop bar in Bangkok, following Sky Beach, Akara Sky Hanuman offers a much more cozy and relaxed atmosphere.
Dress code: Smart casual is recommended if you want to blend in. But casual or upscale works fine as well. As long as you don't wear swimwear, tank tops or flip flops.
AKARA SKY HANUMAN
The Party: Up on the 29th floor of the amazing SO/ Bangkok you find the Park Society, a hip and trendy venue to party under the stars. Or rather, 'Party at Skyline', as the rooftop byline says. And very much true, as the open-air, neon-glowing and stylish terrace comes with some magnificent views over Bangkok, and down on Lumpini Park.
Ambiance: Serving an impressive drink menu, here you can choose from a large selection of creative signature cocktails, along with classics and non-alcoholic beverages. There is also a food menu with plenty of bites, and a couple of main dishes and pizzas.
What we think: With a spectacular skyline view and an party vibe to die for, HI-SO is one of our favorite rooftop bars in Bangkok. Head to Park Society early for great sunset views and a cool cocktail lounge feel, or enjoy the later lively ambiance with weekly themed nights and DJ beats. The rooftop can also be reserved for private events.
