The Party: This spacious terrace comes with generous and green outdoor areas, a panoramic view of Berlin along with cozy cottages offering concerts, DJ program, readings, cinema and more. Definitely an eventful place and made perfect for a rooftop party. Friendly, fun and vibrant in ambience, Klunkerkranich Rooftop is a bit hard to find, but still highly popular. So it is recommended to be here early to avoid the lines, starting at the elevator downstairs.
Ambiance: Very urban and creative in decoration, here you can have a seat on wooden benches or right in the sand. The rooftop bar offers ice cold beers and classic and refreshing cocktails, and at the 'Zum Fetten Finken' cantina you can pick up breakfast, lunch and a changing dinner menu: sometimes its pasta, sometimes its pizza.
What we think: After our visit here late 2024, we fell in love with the casual party vibe. There are no reservations possible, so when the rooftop is full they work on a 'one-out, one-in' basis. While peak season for the rooftop terrace is during summer, Klunkerkranich is usually also open during the colder months, offering everything from Christmas market and drinks inside a cozy hut called 'Hinter Den Alpen', to indoor concerts and DJ programs.
