The Brunch: Step into a world of romance at State of Grace with their Saturday Soirée bottomless brunch! This rooftop brunch is inspired by the romantic tale of Romeo and Juliet. Indulge in a shared lunch-style menu together with live acoustic music for $80pp. Enjoy bottomless Espresso Martinis, Pornstar Martinis, Aperol Spritz, Limoncello Spritz, Pink Hibiscus Spritz, house wine, beer, and soft drinks!
Ambience: Located in the old Melbourne Steamship Co. building, State of Grace offers three levels of (quite diverse) fun. The kitsch and sophisticated restaurant serves modern Australian fare with a touch of European flavours, and the secret Fall From Grace cellar bar offers expertly mixed signature cocktails. But for brighter alfresco vibes, you can also head up to the State of Grace rooftop bar.
What we think: One of our favorite brunch spots in Melbourne this year (2025). Whether you’re a romantic couple or a brunch enthusiast, this is the perfect way to spend your Saturday. The bottomless cocktail menu is something out of the ordinary. So, get ready for a boozy Saturday and we recommend reserving your spot in advance!

Overview
The Brunch: This rooftop brunch is called “Three Bears Boozy Brunch”. Why? We don’t know actually. What we know though is that it is a perfect way to spend an afternoon in the clouds above Melbourne's CBD with their boozy picnic. Free flowing house wine, tap beer, & select cocktails paired with your choice of one food item per guest from the Asian fusion food menu. Two-hour sessions from 3pm Monday to Friday. On the weekend, start your boozy brunch anytime between 12pm - 3pm.
Ambience: Goldilocks Rooftop Bar is not that easy to find, but well worth the search. Located on the 4th floor above a Chinese diner on Swanston Street in the heart of Melbourne, the fairytale that the name promises comes true in both setting and cocktails. Starting with painted trees on the walls at the stairs up, you walk into a quite small and intimate rooftop bar with a plastic lawn, part open air and part wooden hut and a very nice view over the Melbourne skyline. There is also heaters for the days the Melbourne weather cannot be trusted.
What we think: We’re not the only ones who love this rooftop brunch. So, we’d suggest you book your spot in advance (see the booking link below). Price: $75pp, which we believe is a bargain! All in all, Goldilocks is great for a relaxing and intimate brunch with your friends.
Dress code: The Goldilocks Rooftop Bar dress code is casual. Casual dress code refers to clothing that is informal and comfortable, yet clean and professional. It’s best to go with nicer casual wear and avoid the baggier items you wear around the house.
