Overview
Traditional Cuban cuisine mixed with fantastic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Hemingway’s Cuba brings a large slice of Havana to downtown Asheville. Set on the 4th floor of the lovely Cambria Hotel, it's founded by Havana native Tony Fraga.
He grew up enjoying meals at La Floridita, a Havana favourite of Ernest Hemingway. So the name and circle is complete: Hemingway’s Cuba.
Here you find a large and stylish indoor lounge, leading out to an equally spacious rooftop terrace. From both inside and out in the open you can enjoy terrific views over Asheville, with the Blue Ridge Mountains as a mighty backdrop.
Have a seat by one of the terrace fire pits, and order “The Best Daiquiri in the World”. Or maybe a Cuba Libre, Cuba Sour or Cuba Fusion? The Cuban influences are eminent, but there is also local beers and wines.
Open for both breakfast, dinner and weekend brunch, the Hemingway's Cuba Asheville restaurant serves traditional Cuban cuisine with some Asheville flair. Small plates, paella and classic Cuban sandwiches are just some of the options.
