Overview
Lively urban rooftop resort experience, including a Texas-shaped lazy river.
The fantastic Marriott Marquis in downtown Houston comes with several resort-like amenities, where the crown jewel is the spacious and amazing 6th floor rooftop terrace.
Called Altitude Rooftop & Pool, this impressive venue looks and feels a lot like a tropical rooftop park. Here you find palm trees and astro-turf areas, but most of all: a heated rooftop infinity pool and a Texas-shaped lazy river.
Easy to tell, this is a Houston rooftop for long hours of fun relaxation under the Texas sun. In the pool, on a lounger, or in one of the comfy and luxurious cabanas and gazebos.
To keep fresh and full of energy, poolside food and drinks are available from the High Dive rooftop bar and restaurant.
To enjoy the rooftop at Marriott Marquis you have two options: book some nights at the hotel, or buy a Resort Day Pass / reserve one of the cabanas here. A day pass starts at $40, while a double gazebo for up to 10 people is around $1200 (including sof drinks and fruit).
During winter, the rooftop is lit up with the 'Texas Winter Lights', including thousands of winter lights and interactive displays. The lazy river is also heated to a pleasant 80°.
During spring, every Friday means rooftop movie nights at the terrace.
